I looked for Dan this morning to thank him for encouraging me to go forward with a stem cell transplant. He shared his strength with anyone who needed it. I've been hiding I guess in the months since returning home. Stunned and sad to find Dan has left this life but I feel he's at peace, having endured much and helped many.
